As an entire program, we will maintain an overall teacher/child ratio of approximately 4 to 1, staffing infants at 3 babies to each teacher and staffing our oldest group at 6 children to each teacher. We are fortunate to have a facility that has been designed especially for this young age group, allowing us to assign children to very small groups for a portion of the day, while providing ample opportunity in our beautiful common space for children to spend time together participating in joint activities.

Every study ever conducted on early childcare validates the critical impact of the bonding process on intellectual and emotional development. Above all, we value the vital importance of consistency in your child’s life. Recognizing that all teachers will take time away from Regent Park for various reasons, we make certain that your child is comfortable and familiar with five or six teachers that are assigned to his or her age group, and we make every effort to consult one another before taking time off so that we may rearrange our schedules rather than rely heavily on the hiring of substitute teachers.
