OUR PARENT COMMUNITY

 

Families at Regent Park get together for potlucks and holiday celebrations several times during the year.  These events provide an opportunity to meet other parents, share food and fun, and enjoy time to socialize while your children eat and play with their classmates.   Last year we had fall and spring suppers, and a holiday party in December.

For the past two years, Regent Park has also collected toys and clothes for needy children during the holiday season and in the wake of hurricane Katrina.  We are proud to be a part of a school community that has responded to the needs of others with such heartfelt generosity.  We plan to make projects such as these a Regent Park tradition.
