We know that you want to be kept up to date on your child’s adjustment and progress on an ongoing basis. Our goal is to foster that comfort zone that allows for frequent informal exchange of information. We will also arrange times for longer, more informal reports when you are not trying to simultaneously remove a coat or replace the diapers. It is also in the works to provide picture diaries (oh, the pluses of technology!) to capture those moments that words can never quite describe.

Lastly, we will use a standardized checklist to track your child’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development and record milestones as they occur. This kind of documented information, besides providing wonderful material for that baby book, can be very helpful when you have a need to analyze objective data (for example, to review with your pediatrician at a well baby check-up.)
